Self-host Visual DB

Visual DB is available as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution, but can also be self-hosted on your own infrastructure if you prefer. You can run it on your laptop for personal projects, or deploy it on your intranet or in the cloud for business use.

When should you consider self-hosting?

Data Security & Privacy

When you self-host, your data stays within your infrastructure and helps you meet stringent data security and privacy requirements.

Intranet Database Access

If you want to connect to databases on your intranet, self-hosting makes it possible. No need to expose your database to the internet!

System Compatibility

Visual DB server runs on all major platforms with minimal requirements

Visual DB server is compatible with Windows, Linux, and macOS, and supports x64 (Intel/AMD) and ARM64 processors, including Apple Silicon. The only prerequisite is Docker.

Windows Server 2019 and above are supported. Contact support if you want to run Visual DB on Windows Server.
